Innovators Meet Industry

The University of Utah, in partnership with WECC, invites all PMAPS 2026 attendees to Innovators Meet Industry: Student Posters & Career Fair. This evening brings together student researchers, industry partners, and the broader power systems community in one of Salt Lake City’s most iconic venues.

Hosted in the Rio Tinto Center, the evening features a chef-curated menu of Utah cheeses, seasonal produce, and regional specialties, alongside a selection of wine, beer, and desserts. With more than 400 expected attendees from academia, industry, and the power systems community, this is one of the conference’s premier networking events.

For Students

Student authors of accepted papers at PMAPS 2026 are invited to present their research in an engaging, interactive format. Participants will be automatically considered for the Best Student Poster Award, which recognizes excellence in technical quality, clarity, and visual design. Templates and presentation guidelines will be released on this page soon.

Organizations interested in recruiting, networking, and supporting the next generation of power and energy professionals are invited to reserve a dedicated employer table. A table is $2,000 and includes the catered evening for your representatives, along with direct access to graduate and undergraduate researchers and 400+ industry attendees.
